Everybody Hurts...

One of my closest if not oldest friends is going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment... She finally took a stand and dumped the prick of a guy she had been dating for the better part of nine years... Now I've been a witness to their relationship from roughly a year or so after they started dating and frankly I never really liked the guy... He always had a stick up his ass but she liked him so I eventually started to be pretty indifferent towards them... for the last few years things were steadily moving from bad to worse... the guy was emotionally unavailable, cheated, lied and to top it all blamed her for the growing distance between them... she, like the idiot that she is, kept forgiving him and moving on... getting to the point where she actually started doubting her own self... Love hurts right.... the SOB had the nerve to cheat again... and made a sorry excuse that he was "mentally ill" and had the compulsive need to cheat... which ofcourse would hurt his family too much if they found out about it so professional help was out of the question and actually suggested that she " just get over it "... i'm rather happy to say that at this point of time she finally was strong and smart enough to dump his sorry ass and at the moment is bravely fighting against repeated futile attempts by him to "win her back" by doing what in his sorry opinion makes everything ok... "I'm ordering flowers for you" he says.. and expects that everything should now be quite alright... he ordered flowers after all.. which if i may add... have not been recieved so far....

This if for you my brave partner in crime... my heart goes out to you... i know it hurts... but i know you're strong enough to take it... and dont ever think you're alone... im right here to piss you off with lame jokes.. like i've always been... this song goes out to you...
